Oh this book!! I love this book! I made a linen tunic using the pattern shown on the front. I always receive compliments when wearing it. So I decided to branch out and make a different pattern from it.
This cutie little apron dress is adorable:
A few weeks ago, I received this fun Marcia Derse fabric from Julie. It’s so perfect for little dresses that are cut with the bottom of the skirt on the selvedge. I wondered how it would look in this pattern.
That little ruffle…so cute!
And here’s my version:
I’d fit it a bit better in the middle front if I were to do it again. It’s very fun to wear for sure!! Again, that ruffle is darling!!
I have three other patterns I’m going to whip up in the next few weeks out of this book. Sooooo cute! I do have a bit of an addiction to leggings, so these little dresses are perfect for my lifestyle. Also, I know that I need to lose some weight. It’s a much more hopeful process when you feel good in what you are wearing no matter how big or small you are!
Speaking of hope, pop on over to I’ll Take Jesus and see Julie’s FREE Easter Mini Quilt pattern.
