Happy Friday! I’m so happy to share some block finishes with you.
Each month, I’m making blocks for different projects. And this month was a catch-up month for me!! yay!! (Actually, I’m still behind in one bee, but I hope to rectify that in two weeks!!)
While making all of my blocks, I used my Cricut Maker in each one to cut out my pieces. Eli helped a little…
I’ve shared in January about my Quilter’s Planner blocks. Here is my March block:
Here are all three (Jan, Feb and Mar) blocks:
And along with the Quilter’s Planner blocks each month, I’m following along with the Houston Modern Quilt Guild BOM. My darling friend Tita and I got together and used the Cricut to cut out the pieces for the blocks. And here they are – February and March:
My March #webeedaytrippin row/column/blocks for my round robin quilting bee was for Katie’s Magic and Wonder quilt. She started with the unicorn middle block, and it made it’s way around the group. I was second to last, so I added the gnome and mushrooms blocks:
I stuffed the mushrooms…Katie can take out the stuffing while quilting if she wants to!
Ohhhh that gnome! but really, the embroidery is my favorite!! 🙂
My last finish today is three blocks for a Bee I was in last year. Yes, I procrastinated and procrastinated. I get stopped by some unknown obstacle, and then it takes a move of a mountain to get me to finish! My issue last year was picking fabrics for this particular block, the Supernova. Again, once I picked fabrics (and put the cutting info into the Cricut), I was good to go! Here are my fabric picks:
And here is my block:
It was the October block for last year. Literally, once this block was sewn together, I whipped out the last two…
November was the Raspberry Kiss block:
And December was Wonky Stars.
I love all of these blocks! Why did I wait so long to finish them??? (Story of my life!!)
I’m so thankful for accountability and friends to keep me on track!
What blocks are you making this week?
I”m linking up with Amanda Jean’s Crazy Mom Quilts!
Blessings,
