I have a confession to make…well, several.
First, I LOVE Christmas. I love focusing on the manger and the Baby Jesus. I love nativity sets. And I love Christmas music, of course.
Last year, we did something completely out of the ordinary for Christmas. It was the trip of a lifetime. We took the whole family to Hawaii over the Christmas holidays. Oh my goodness, it was beautiful, amazing, and stunning. But I couldn’t help feeling like I missed Christmas after we got back. We did do our caroling on Christmas Eve together around a piano in the middle of a resort on Waikiki Beach. But unless someone was wearing a santa hat, I totally forgot it was Christmas while there!
This year, when September hit, I was all about the Ultimate Christmas Playlist on Spotify. I’ve been pinning more things on my Christmas board on Pinterest. And I’ve finally gotten most of my decorations up in my house.
We’ve started the cookie baking, too!!
I found some printables at Illustrated Faith that I love. Perfect for visiting nieces and daughters when arts and crafts step in…
I think I’m going to print more of these out on sticker paper for the random art journaling this December!
If you are local, our band is performing a week from today at our church…our Christmas Jazz concert. It’s going to be sooo fun!
I better get on making my two new fun Christmas dresses. Time to sew! Next week, I’ll post all of my Christmas projects!! 🙂 You’ll love them!
Also, if you need a little bit of advent inspiration, join us over at I’ll Take Jesus for our Advent Devotionals.
Happy December!!! Many Blessings!
