I am finally putting down here in print what I am longing to finish this last quarter! Yay!
Time to bind! And football season is here!!! So these will get done fast, right?

I’ve been involved for the past 18 months in a Savor Each Stitch Bee where we explored Carolyn Friedlander’s book and each of the design elements that she highlights in the book. I created a block for each element/chapter using the same fabric line for all. We talked at our last meeting about how I can put the whole thing together and use my quilting as my study in texture. I’m excited to finish it!!
The HMQG is doing a Medallion Sew-along…I’m longing to have a few minutes to work on this to finish it up before Christmas!!!
So, one of my dreams has been to make a double wedding ring quilt. I actually collect antique double wedding ring quilts. I know this is technically not the easiest quilt, but my brother and sister-in-law commissioned me to make one!! They bought the Cotton and Steel fabrics from The Intrepid Thread and I was on my way. My friend Linda who I work with at Quilt Your Own loaned me her book/box of templates for a cool way of making this block!!! I loved learning how to make this at retreat a few weeks ago! I’ll post more about it as I get closer to the quilting part!
I have four other projects on my “to be finished by Dec 19th” list, but I’ll post about them later! They are lower on my list!!
