It’s time to get those hard to finish hand-quilted projects done. Let’s stick them into our schedule in those odd times where we don’t want to walk up the stairs to the craft studio…LOL!! Finishing is so good!! Keep going. You can do it!

This past weekend on our trip to Kansas City, I was excited to be able to quilt in the back seat of the truck as we were driving. I actually finished quilting this cutie quilt! Now, time to bind!!

I had another project where I was practicing my hand quilting. It was hidden in a bag. When I grabbed that bag to take on my trip, there were several projects that I left in there just in case I had time to relax with hand embroidery/quilting!

I am really looking forward to washing this little mini after I’m done. The hand quilting and crinkly goodness will be worth all the time spent quilting this! I used one long piece of thread to keep my stitches straight. It was better than drawing on the fabric this time. Like one big basting stitch. Perfect!

Also, while riding, I drew out this quote and embroidered it. Hi, my name is Sally, and I’m addicted to text and embroidery! The next step with this is to pick fun beautiful fabric and create a little mini with it.

Scripture memory! I’m joining the hashtag #onmy❤️week1 this week!!

If you follow @heisonmyheart on IG, you too can join us in memorizing a scripture a week. I am loving all of the art journaling, lettering, and bible journaling inspiration that I see on IG and Pinterest. This is helping me to memorize for sure!

I’m so stoked about posting my 10 finishes from the FinishAlong tomorrow here on the blog. Come back and cheer with me!!!

What are you working on this week? I’m linking up with Brooke’s WIPS Wednesday linky party! Check out what others are working on.

Blessings!!!!
