Some fun finishes this past spring and summer:
At the rehearsal dinner, we needed a beautiful quick little table decoration to go with burlap and pictures of the couple. So I saw a pin on my Pinterest pretty table settings board with rosemary and text. I figured out we had everything needed to make something nice!
Fresh rosemary from our front porch garden, fresh greenery left over from the florals for the wedding, and some twine, cards and a bride who can really letter!
perfect on burlap!!!
After the wedding, I was really wanting to do something special for my mothers and my sister in law. Without them, the wedding would not have gone so fabulously!!!!
So for each of them, I made aprons!!!
Here are the three aprons I made:
It's such fun Riley Blake fabric from a while back!!
Love this Melody Miller Cotton + Steel fabric (Picnic) – appropriate!!
Rashida Coleman Hale's Zephyr is one of my very fave fabric collections for aprons!
I am in love with aprons! What a pleasure to be able to give them to those who mean so much to us! And our moms and sister in law did baking and so much food prep for the wedding, it was perfect to honor them in this way!
I'm excited to be teaching how to make this one hour apron with the Houston Modern Quilt Guild next Saturday, August 29th from 3:00-4pm. Check out our whole Holiday Headstart schedule! It's free!!!
oh blissful life!
Blessings!!!
