Right now, I'm listening to my youngest two children singing as loud as they can in the kitchen while they bake together!

This sound is a frequent one in my house. And it reminds me of how thankful I am that I take some time to listen…really listen to what is going on around me. 

This past December, I chose to listen, look, and think about the little things in my life. And this was a huge blessing from the Lord. It was the first year in many, many years that I had more time to invite people over for parties, to sew a LOT more than usual in December (you'll see the results of that soon!!), and to just hang with the fam and in the man cave with Mr Gorgeous. 

It was glorious!!

But now, it's time to get some things done…and to share a LOT MORE about them here on the blog!

So, I'll start with our big news here:

My oldest daughter is engaged to be married June 21st!!!

They got engaged right before Christmas on Enchanted Rock!

And the wedding planning ensues!!! (passed down from generation to generation!!)

Our crafting focus is changing around here a little…so don't be surprised when you see a lot of wedding-y crafts here! 

But it won't be all wedding-y!!

Kori from Olive Grace Studios is such a cutie and an awesome pattern designer! I have another project of hers that I'm working on for Julie's Intrepid Thread store!!
