Super excited to be sharing two new quilts that I finished a while ago for Windham Fabrics!!
My sweet friend, Nell sent me some awesome fabric a few months ago and asked me to design some quilt patterns for Windham. I came up with two patterns that I think are perfect for the fabrics with a little modern twist, some embroidery, and a lot of Faith, Hope and Love!!!
My first quilt is Faith Crosses. It's a play on the modern cross pattern.
This pattern is a great way to show off the different fabrics in the line.
(the back!)
I think the small meandering really makes those awesome crosses pop!!
And the pattern is fairly simple to put together. It is based on 2.5" squares and strips.
The awesome part of this line is the metallic printing on the fabric!! Gorgeous!!!
My second quilt is my Faith, Hope and Love Mini Quilt! (original title, I know! LOL!!)
Again, the metallic printing is so fun on this fabric.
I added appliqued doves to the design, and I embroidered a blanket stitch all around each dove!
I also fussy cut the words "Faith," "Hope" and "Love"out of the fabric and framed them with the other fabrics! You know how I love text!!! I also was thrilled to learn and practice this meandering squares free-motion quilting on this little quiltie!!! So fun!!!
What a sweet little wall hanging!!!
Both of these patterns will be available very soon! I'll link up to them on my sidebar asap!!!
Thanks so much to my darling friends at Windham for the awesome fabrics and opportunity to design these sweetie quilts!!!
