Super excited to share three finishes today!!
First of all, my Wiksten tank for my sweetie. This is using Khristian Howell's new fabric for Blend called Modern Eclectic. Love the way this looks on her!! We'll adjust the neckline for the next two, but all in all, it was a great pattern for her!!
She's such a cutie! It reminds me, though, that I will probably have some minky PJ pants for child#3 on my WIPs next Wednesday!! Fairness and all…LOL!!!
Finish #2 this week…a fun apron embellished with vintage linens! This is a new direction I'm going with my aprons. I just love love love using vintage linens in things, and I thought aprons were the perfect place to experiment!!
BTW, check out Julie's store, the Intrepid Thread for her Speaking French bundle!! It's soooo yummy!!! (and in my shopping cart there, for sure!!!)
I am loving the little ruffle at the bottom! I didn't think I could put another ruffle on anything after Megan's crib ruffle skirt, but seems like I'm okay with ruffles!! yay!!
And for my last finish…A twin-sized graduation quilt!!!
I'm working out how to write out the pattern for you as we speak!! So stay tuned for that!! ♥
And here is our graduate, Luke and his dad opening it up and showing it off at his party! His dad was sheepish (see what I did there?) about telling me his fave colors were black and grey, but I was super excited to work with black and grey! And he (Luke) loves it, and that's what really counts!! ♥
I call it my "Oh the Places You will Go Quilt" (get it? with the arrows?).
I'm loving all of the finishing that summer allows me!!
What did you finish this week? (I cooked dinner a couple of times, too!!! eeeeeek!!)
I'm linking up to crazymomquilts Finish it Up Fridays!!
Blessings!!
