Yep, I've got faith I'm going to make it through my list this week!! I love this mug…it came from a sweet homeschooling mom, and it holds the perfect amount of coffee!!!
Speaking of mugs…I am going to post about my mug swap 2013 experience in the next few days. I'm waiting to hear back from my partner to make sure she got her goodies!!

Today, I picked a block from a magazine…
I loved this quilt by Tia Curtis called Writer's Block.
All of her blocks in this quilt are a bit different, so I picked the one in the left corner to reproduce…
I had picked a more traditional quilt block from this magazine, but when I saw this block, I realized I hadn't done reverse applique yet, and I wanted to try it. So, here's my block…
I love the contrasting blues, oranges, and pinks (red!) in this fun block.
I am going to love how this comes out with the quilting in the big quilt!! It's a 15" block…yummmmmy!!!!
And I got all excited about making blocks this month that I finished my 4×6 bee swap "august" blocks…LOL!!!
I need to get to ironing them a little better before I send them!! But I love the way they turned out!!
Today, my creating schedule has the Holiday in London Bag by BariJ that totally got pushed to the back burner in August!! But not today…off to sew!!! yay!!!
