Do you ever have those days where you just want a moment more????
That's me! All the time!
I mean…I am cherishing all of the time God is giving me, don't get me wrong! I'm super thankful for everything I get to do…
…but I would love to do more!!!
Yep, I'm one of those kids who, at this point in my life, never gets bored!!!! ๐
So, I took a weekend to get my moment on!! and I went on a quilting retreat with the Houston Modern Quilt Guild! Here are some quick pics of the first few hours of my time there!! LOL!! (I got to sewing and forgot all about the camera!! eeeek!)

My first project was to pin baste my darling daughter's boyfriend's birthday quilt!! And with Rebekah and Pam's help, we got it done!!! yay!!! (no, I haven't quilted it yet, but don't tell!! LOL!!)
{and swirl quilting the sheep quilt!!! yay!!}
And here are some of the gifties I made for our teachers… (they've been given, so it's okay to post! teeeheeee!!)
I took some time to learn a lot more about zippers!!! Thanks to the girlies for walking that with me!! eeeek!!
I'm kinda in love with making sweet little pouches!!! yeah…I am!!

Aren’t those so fun??? They are Julia Rothman’s Type. I think Julie still has some in her store! I wish I could hoard it, but it’s just too fun to sew with!!! Hugs!!
