OHhh Happy 11th day of Christmas.
One of the reasons I picked this time to do my annual 12 days of Christmas was because of Epiphany. I'll talk more about it tomorrow, but it's the day that churches celebrate the coming of the Wise Men to Bethlehem to visit the baby Jesus.
And I'm guessing after they visited Him and went back to the East another way (to avoid that bad king, Herod), they took some time to rest.
…that's what I did today!!
I rested.
Tomorrow, I'm going to completely redo my craft room as much as I can! I'm super excited about it!! I'm getting a new cutting table from Amy, one of my darling HMQG friends!! Ohhh to have more room to cut my fabrics…divine!!
…but today…football + computer on the couch! REST!!!

I love the look of winter…it looks so solemn and silent and beautiful!! (So thankful I don't have snow down in Houston…my thin blood couldn't take it!!!)
And that scripture! Inspirational!!! Full of peace and rest!
Here's a little crafting inspiration for you…while I rest!
One of the things I love to do while sitting/lounging/resting on the couch is…
Digital Scrapbooking!!! Surprise!! LOL!!
Here's an example of digital scrapbooking…
{this was my mom and nieces last night!! so adorable!!!}
I used mainly one digital kit: Forever Joy Designs' Heaven and Nature Sing
and I added a couple of little things from Jen Maddocks' Secret Indulgences and Leora Sanford's Reminisce all from Oscraps.com
My Oscraps gallery is Here if you want to see other pages of mine!
For me, it's a wonderful way to relax and create at the same time! And have our memories scrapbooked! Love!!
Do you engage in a creative outlet while you rest?
Join me here tomorrow for our last day of our 12 days! But definitely not our last day of blogging!! I'll let you in a few of my future plans for the blog tomorrow…I think you are going to like them!! I know I'm excited!!!!!
Oh my, I love that creation. Thank you, Sally.
I really like your choice of scriptures. I tend to read while resting, and I am also very keen on making lots of hexagons as I find the hand sewing theraputic.
I have grandnieces and like your scrapbook ideas. mlwright29(at)hotmail(dotit)com
