Wow! What a day of remembrance! Ten years ago today, a great tragedy occured, which, instead of tearing apart our great nation and instilling fear, brought us closer together regardless of race, religion, and political views.
I will say that what I remember most is my little 7yo Cora going into the music room with a tape recorder and recording a slew of original music as her response to the stress and tragedy. The one song that came out of it was a song we have since done in church. The chorus says this:
God loves us, and He loves our country. He loves our whole nation and everybody in it.
That’s it…simple and wonderfully to the point! I just love that girlie…
