Truly, I love Mondays!!

I love Mondays because I need a fresh start! Actually, every day poses the opportunity of being a fresh start, so yep, I pretty much love every day! LOL!!

And today for me is even more of a fresh start! I have NEW FABRIC to dig into! Actually, I will be a good girlie and do my work first. I have a couple of advent calendars to finish up and a big custom quilt to cut out! eek!! But after that, I’m going to play, play, play! I have a bunch of giftie ideas for early Christmas presents, so I can’t wait to dig in…

Here are the fabrics for my darling friend’s custom quilt she wants for her brother. I am using Alicia Paulson’s Ollalieberry Ice Cream Quilt Pattern. (you can see that on top!)

So my mom and Lillian and I went to the Greater Houston Quilt Guild’s A Quilt Odyssey Quilt Show on Friday, and we had a great time! (I’ll post pics from that tomorrow)

 At the show, there was a store with a booth that was filled with bolts of some of my fave fabrics, including these!!! Jennifer Paganelli’s (from Sis Boom) Honey Child line! I got the designer roll and the charm packs! yummmmmy!!!

Why is it that cats find the weirdest places to take naps?

I’ve never had any Kaffe Fassett fabrics and my LQS (Quilter’s Emporium) is now carrying them! I’m trying them out in fat quarter form! wow!! What should I make???? Tell me your ideas for a fun modern quilt!

Amanda’s new line, Delighted, has made it to TEXAS!!! Sooo excited!!! Don’t you love those blues??? (see the first Angel pic! yum!!)

I do have a gob of ideas for this pack of fat quarters…oh yeah, baby!!

And the banner panel…*sigh*…I’m doing mine on burlap!! It’s gonna be sooooo sweet!!!
