Ohhhhh are you ready for the surprise?????
Did you guess aprons????
Make sure you wade through this whole post to the end! I’m excited for the ending of this one…for sure!!!
Lately, I have been creating a bunch of aprons for the shop! I am in the middle of a bunch of projects, so it will be this weekend, before I get them in the shop. BUT you can see them today!!
Enjoy the picture show!!
And introducing…
my Flirty Girl Promenade Apron (below!)
Here is the second best news of the day…
You, too, can make this apron!!
I’ve got a free tutorial over on Julie’s blog at the Intrepid Thread today with a detailed set of instructions on how to make the Flirty Girl Promenade Apron!! Isn’t that sweet of Julie to let me invade her blog???
BUT WAIT…that’s not all!!!
Here’s the BEST news of the day!!
I’m having an APRON GIVEAWAY!!!!
Comment on THIS POST right here with two fabrics that you like from Julie’s store, the Intrepid Thread over on Etsy, and I will make you a little half apron out of two half yards!! 🙂 Be specific (unless you want me to pick…I’m okay with that!!)
(Only one entry per person, please! You can comment as many times as you want, but i”ll only count ya once!)
I will keep the comments open until next Thursday, Sept 22nd! Get those comments in…this would make a wonderful Christmas gift!! Or it can protect your clothes while you do your Christmas baking!!
THanks for letting me show off my aprons today!! Be sure and stay tuned to the Store to be able to purchase every single one of these babies!! 🙂
Blessings!!!
Those are all adorable! I love anything from the Promenade line 🙂 So pretty!
Sally, these are fabulous ! I love the fabric with the apples and pears in the apron on the third picture … so maybe that combined with one of the other fabric from the Farm Fresh Bundle : the green plaid, red/white squares or maybe even the red dots ?
You’re just so creative and kind !
Wow!!
I love all the variety – you go girl!!!
Love your writing style – just have to say!!!
Have an awesome day!
Such sweet aprons. I think the new Delighted Blue Daisy and Stripe would be cute. Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous!
I’d love a Little Apples apron!
Thanks for the chance
Thank you so much for the Apron tut, I love it! If I was lucky enough to win I would be “Delighted” to have one of your aprons in Red and Yellow Delighted. Linda
Those are all so Cute! I love anything from the Promenade line in purple.
Thx
Wow, how fun to have a chance to win a custom apron! I love absolutely everything that they stock over at the Intrepid Thread, but if I had to choose a pairing for my apron I would pick:
Curated Bloom in Fun Blue and Hugs and Kisses in Pink Limes, both from the LouLouthi collection!
Thanks again for the wonderful tutorial! I’d love to have an apron in the Delighted fabrics! I love the reds in that line! Yum!
Wow!! Thanks for the chance to win Sally!!!
I love the plaid and random farm animals in this bundle:

How sweet would any of these be to wear in the kitchen! Maybe I’d cook more. Hmmm …
I think I’d cook ever more if I had an apron made from Pernilla’s Journey Elephant Run in Licorice and whatever from that line best coordinates with it. I wouldn’t know without seeing them together and I’m sure you have a better eye than I do. That fabric looks magical and maybe it would make my cooking more magical, too.
I would choose Delighted Blue Daisy and Cream Main. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would love to have an apron made from the teal colorway of little apples. I realy enjoy the tree fabric and the one with the children.
I love the Delightful Blue floral and the Delightful Pink Floral. Thank you for the chance to win and the great tutorial. I would like to make my daughter another apron. She likes to have a towel attached with hook and loop tape so she can wipe her hands and not have it on her shoulder or forget where she put it.
The Hefalumps of course is my favorite as I love Hefalumps, but then again the burgundy paisley with the mixer is amazing too. Love your blog
What a fun question. I would choose Little Apples: Little Apples Round Round in red, with a contrast of the Little Apples Apple fabric in aqua. Unless you think a different contrast would be cuter (maybe something with polka dots in a more autumnal fabric?).
Thanks for the giveaway and the apron-y generosity. Which reminds me–have you heard of National Tie One On Day? If not, you might want to google it, as your big-heartedness is a good fit.
So cool Sally!! I love all of them. Especially the flower that’s added to the aprons!! You did a good job 🙂
Now this was fun, checking all the fabricks!! I’d go for the http://www.etsy.com/listing/76449892/50-off-alphabet-soup-pink-girl-squared Alphabet soup!!!! With something red, or blue, or green, or whatever matches…
Hugs,
Yvon
How fun! I really like the Farm Fresh line by October Afternoon, specifically the red polka dots and the green root cellar fabrics. Thanks!
Sally girl, these are all GORGEOUS!!!! The half aprons are sooooooo cute … very 1950’s and very, very charming!
What beautiful aprons! thank you for the tutorial! I would choose Pernillas Journey! i love that line of fabric. Unicorn land and Homestead in Lime are beatiful! thanks!
If I won one of your fantastic aprons I would want you to choose the fabric, your choices are great and what a surprise it would be as the fabrics from Intrepid thread are lovely.
OMG!!! those are all fabulous!!! I love the little apples in pencils, any combination!!!
thanks for this chance!!
My DIL would love any one of those half aprons. Me, I need as much on top as possible, I’m a sloppy cook and always manage to splash on my nice clean top! I love the Little Apples collection and I’m waiting for the Kate Spain fabric to come in.
love all your aprons-just beautiful! i’d love to win one. i’d probably choose something from delighted-anything really-i’d want you to choose because you’re obviously a gal w/some great taste combos!
thanks
Such pretty aprons. I love the little apples in aqua fabrics. SO pretty.
I adore your aprons so fun…I love the Farm Fresh Teal Root Cellar and the Farm Fresh Teal Gingham
Oh! This is sooooo sweet! I would choose Farm Fresh – wouldn’t that make a darling country apron??!! Thanks for the chance!
Little Apples Tree in aqua and leaves in lollipop.
I love all your quilt designs – they are perfect. If I won I really would want one in Heirloom – Saphire.
Your aprons are just so cute! If I were the lucky winner, I’d like one using Pernilla’s Journey Elephant Run in Licorice and whatever you think would look best with it!
Julie has such amazing fabrics 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway.
What beautiful aprons. Thank you for the tutorial as well. Believe it or not, an apron is one thing I have not made. I’d love to have an apron made with Taza, the Medallion in red and something you pick to coordinate.
Thanks for the giveaway and a chance to win.

I just love your aprons and can just imagine one in aqua Little Apples by Aneela Hooey, Trees and Leaves or Little Apples and Sweater check would just be gorgeous!
How about the Apples Trees with Olives and the Apple tree Round around. Really hard to pick. They are all so lovely.
Oh, eekkkkk!! I am loving the ruffles 🙂 The Sugar and Spice is so fun, and the full length are so darling too! Too many options! hehe! As far as fabric- I stalk Julie everyday! Her shop is my online shop for sure!! Main red and Floral yellow of Delighted would be my choices- how in the world are you just supposed to pick 2???!!?? 🙂
Such lovely aprons and patterns! I made aprons a couple of years ago as gifts and would love to have one made for me. I really like the Moroccan Mirage: Tiles in Ochre fabric…with some fun funky accent fabrics as you see fit of course. 🙂
