Did you ever go on vacation and just have the best time? I just got home from 8 days up in the Great Northwest. We all flew up there (thanks to Mr Gorgeous’ FF miles!!) to celebrate my niece’s spectacular wedding (more on that later…) and I got to stay with my sister and her family for an extra week!!
We had such a wonderful time…and we lived calmly without any major agenda; a couple of things had to get done (go to quilt store!!), but other than that, we just relaxed and has some awesome fellowship!
One of the things I really was seriously blessed with was the wedding. It was beyond fantastic. And it was an opportunity to see a community wrap themselves around a family and watch the blessings abound! Before I go on and on about it, check out this 4 minute video recap that my nephew created the day after the wedding! (He is soooooo talented!! amazing…just amazing…)

So, I have to share some of the fantastic crafts that my sister and her friends created for this special event! Ohhh my goodness!! They were sooooo awesome!
my sister made the bird toppers…soooo cool!!! and dear friends made the cake…very tasty!
These garlands were all over! gorgeous! and so fun!!! The perfect use for your deco paper and punches!!
Love this little booth…it has pics of the bride and groom at all ages and interspersed are the RSVP cards! They were mini mad libs…I still have to turn mine in. Think they figured out we were coming? (procrastinators, unite!!) And that little pennant banner, it has fabric at the top and scrapbook paper for the triangles. And it was all over the area, too!
Ohhhhhh, these little cans with paper around them and gorgeous flowers in them…perfect on the burlap table runners (also made by my sis…)
Handmade cookies at each place setting…and hand crocheted antique doilies found at a major discount at an antique store going out of business.
The best thing about the wedding is that God’s name was glorified! There was such a knowlege of God’s hand blessing these two and everyone who was there.
(pics by Cora Keller, Shale Ann Cluff, and Sarah Harrison Photography! thanks, girlies!)
All in all, it was the perfect wedding, rain and all!! 🙂
