In this world of digital photos, digital music, digital TVs and stuff (i’m not that technical…sorry!), I’m still embracing the digital scrapbooking! And this year, for my Christmas Cards, I’m going digital again! I actually just ordered them from Winkflash…at 60% off!! 75 4×8 cards for $26! I’m excited!!!
Here’s what I uploaded to print…
How did I do this, you ask???
I’ll let you in on my secrets!! 🙂
start with a great pic of your fam!
It took us a while to actually have our schedules in sink with each other!! Yesterday was the first day in a long time that we had a little time to do this photo shoot! I love this pic!!
Throw a Pioneer Woman action on the pic. I used Seventies and Boost.
Open up your Photoshop (or whatever editing program you use!) and create a NEW file 4inx8in.
Make sure you have a FABULOUS kit to work with…
Get this one at OScraps in NinaScraps Designs shop!
Grab some fonts that you LOVE and create your card!!
Here’s one I’m going to Email to some online friends…
Merry Christmas from the Kellers!!

Not really into the digital?????
Here’s a fun, quick (sorta!) tradition most kids love to do during this season:
The Gingerbread HOUSE!
Here are a bunch of pics of us making one the day after Thanksgiving:
one HINT: Let the gluey frosting harden longer before decorating…just sayin’…
Oma had her Christmas faves on her iPod!!
It’s at this point that you want to wait probably overnight for the frosting to really set!!
Otherwise you’ll have what we had…
the Hurricane House!!
Here’s how we decorated it:
Here’s where it started to get a “little” heavy!!!
and here’s what happened…
then the kids ate it! YUMMMMM!!
Sometimes we have to embrace the journey more than the destination!! 🙂
and we certainly enjoyed the creation!!

So here’s a little somethin somethin for you!
My darling son and I just watched Dicken’s Christmas Carol with George C Scott! Marvelous!! And while I was watching, this quote stuck out at me!! I love the idea of “Keeping Christmas” in my heart!!
So here ya go!! (click on the link underneath and right click to SAVE!)
I’ll be back tomorrow with a little idea on how to use this!! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed Day 1 of Sally’s 12 Days of Christmas!!
See you here tomorrow! ♥
Hey Sal,
I’m so sorry to say how much we enjoyed the final gingerbread house photo! The kids and I were oohing and arghing at each photo, then snorted with laughter at the last one. And that’s why I don’t even START!!!
Awesome WA, girl.
Have a good one
