When choosing the quilting for your beautiful quilt top, think about what type of wear and tear first of all you expect your quilt to undergo. If this is a quilt you will use daily, consider denser quilting! If this is a top you will fold and put away for special occasions, lighter quilting is a good choice. If you want theme-based quilting, there are many pantographs that have small motifs that can compliment the theme of the top.
