Embroidery…

At Sally’s Angelworks, embroidery is a staple, a mainstay on most projects.

I love to use embroidery for scripture memory. I also love to find the perfect quote to put on a pillow or quilt.

How can you even start to learn about embroidery?

Super easy! Here are some sources for you to learn how to embroider:

embroiderybooks

Two books I LOVE when it comes to embroidery are Rebecca Ringquist’s Embroidery Workshops (thanks, Tiff!!!) and Aneela Hoey’s Little Stitches.

I don’t really want to reinvent the wheel when there is soooo much out there about this gorgeous craft. So if you’d like to learn how to embroider, check out this simple video that goes through all of the steps of hand embroidery: Hobby Lobby’s Embroidery Basics

What about transferring your pattern onto your fabric?
